Great South River Duck Race

Ducks will be available for purchase at the following locations:
Stone Soup Books – 150 Race Ave, Waynesboro

Join us for the Great South River Duck Race!

Purchase your duck certificate before Riverfest at participating locations, or online – also available at Riverfest. The Duck Race takes place at the end of the day’s events at Riverfest, around 4:00 pm

1st Place: $1000 – cash (at least half) & gift certificates
2nd Place: $300 – cash & gift certificates
3rd Place: $150 – cash or gift certificates
4th & 5th Place: $50 each – cash or certificates

2024 – the Year of the Eastern Screech-Owl at Riverfest!

Programs and activities start at 10am and continue throughout the day.

This FREE annual event takes place river-side at Constitution Park South in Waynesboro, VA. Activities include Reptile World shows, presentations by the Wildlife Center of Virginia, Stream Safari exploration, Fish and Fun Rodeo, canoe rides, kids arts & crafts, interactive exhibits, and more. The day ends with the Great South River Duck Race!
